The ever-busy comedian, Pete Davidson, had a week filled with laughter and excitement. He was the guest host on the season premiere of the iconic comedy show, Saturday Night Live. Post-show, he was seen attending the afterparty with his alleged new love interest, Madelyn Cline.
Eyewitnesses spotted Davidson and Cline making their entrance at the afterparty, held at Catch Steak, a renowned restaurant with branches in New York, Los Angeles, and beyond.
The duo attempted to keep a low profile, with Cline arriving alongside her friend Sophia Hublitz. The ladies were dressed in all black, while Davidson sported a jacket with a mix of brown, black, and green hues.
A source shared with People that the couple seemed “very lovey, very cute,” but kept to themselves. Davidson was reportedly enjoying himself, staying at the venue until the wee hours of 4AM. The party also saw the presence of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, both of whom had made special appearances on SNL.
The Davidson-Cline Love Story
Davidson and Cline first sparked dating rumors in September. Since then, they have been seen together on several occasions, including Cline attending Davidson’s stand-up special in Las Vegas.
In August, Davidson ended his relationship with Chase Sui Wonders and voluntarily checked into a mental health facility. He sought treatment for his borderline personality diagnosis and post-traumatic stress issues.
During an episode of the podcast “Real Ones,” hosted by Jon Bernthal, Davidson opened up about his dating life and the media’s fascination with it. He expressed his frustration about his personal life overshadowing his professional work. He stated, “I wasn’t in anyone’s DMs. No one was in mine. I worked at one of the five Hollywood epicenters of where you meet people, and that’s how it happened. Suddenly, you’re in this zeitgeist, and that has nothing to do with the work. And that’s a really shitty feeling. I became more known before the work was there, but I was always working.”
