Luis Miguel, the beloved crooner, and his daughter Michelle Salas shared a heartwarming father-daughter moment at her wedding to Danilo Díaz. The singer, adored by fans worldwide, made a grand entrance at the wedding, which took place in the picturesque Tuscany, Italy. Taking a brief hiatus from his much-awaited tour, he ensured he was there to witness his daughter’s special day.

Salas and Díaz’s engagement was announced to the public in May of this year. Their love story began in 2016 when Salas relocated to New York City. After a brief separation, the couple rekindled their romance in 2021 and made a move to Spain. Salas, a model and influencer, stirred up excitement among fans and surprised loved ones with a charming black and white snapshot of the couple sharing a passionate kiss. She captioned the photo, “The beginning of forever. Us.”

The wedding festivities spanned three days, and according to insiders, the singer and his daughter shared a touching moment and a brief chat before she walked down the aisle. Luis Miguel made a dramatic entrance via helicopter, sparking rumors of extravagant gifts he brought for the occasion.

The couple’s closest friends and family were overjoyed to be part of the romantic ceremony and celebrate their union. Michelle looked breathtaking in a custom-made Dolce & Gabbana bridal gown, complemented by Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Danilo, on the other hand, looked dapper in a grey tuxedo.

Luis Miguel was determined to be present at his daughter’s wedding, even if it meant postponing his concert in Tampa, Florida. Michelle’s mother, Stephanie Salas, also expressed her excitement and anticipation for the ceremony.

“I’m thrilled, I’m really thrilled. I’m also nervous, I don’t know, I might faint or something. I sometimes get those feelings,” Stephanie confessed to ‘Hoy.’ Michelle discussed the wedding plans during a Vogue interview, revealing that they wanted “something very intimate with our family and friends. Something very small and private.”

“Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamed of a princess dress. It’s a moment in your life when you really have to make that dream come true,” she told the magazine, adding that Tuscany was their ideal location. “It seemed like the perfect setting, between history, nature, and tradition. Italy has places that speak for themselves.”

A few weeks prior to the wedding, the couple hosted a cozy pre-wedding event in Mexico. Michelle paid a sweet tribute to her great-grandmother, actress Silvia Pinal, 92, who was unable to travel to Italy for the wedding.
